I suppose I should take a moment to talk about baseball in spite of the fact that what I am about to say could ruin my chances. I am a transplant to St. Louis, I grew up all in Alabama and had never been to St. Louis until 2009. When I was a kid if you had cable the only to baseball teams you saw with regularity came on a Turner owned station or on WGN. At the time I hated the Atlanta Braves with substantial passion and due to that fact I am a fan of a certain Chicago team which may be named after the offspring of a bear.

While my favorite team may not be the local favorite I am first and foremost a fan of baseball. I have been known to root for the home team if my team wasn't the visitor that day.
